Short, because the arrangement is short: nothing here costs anything, and there is nothing to cancel.
What this site is
A collection of Chinese divination methods implemented for an English-speaking audience, plus explanations of what they mean. It is presented for reflection and entertainment, makes no predictions, and is not advice of any kind — see the disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
What it costs
Nothing. Every tool, every explanation and every reference page is free and unlimited, and there is no account, no sign-up and no payment anywhere on the site. Casting runs entirely in your browser and no reading is stored.
Written readings
Asking for a result to be written out in prose uses a language model, which costs money per request. It is therefore limited to five free readings a day per connection. The limit resets daily. If it is reached, the reading comes back the next day; nothing is lost.
Fair use
Written readings are for a person asking questions. Automated use, bulk scraping, or attempts to get around the limit are not allowed. Requests may be rate-limited or refused to protect the service and its costs.
What is not promised
The site is provided as it is. Written readings are produced by a language model and may be wrong, generic or unsatisfying; they are an interpretation, not a result you can rely on. No warranty is given that the site will be available, uninterrupted, or unchanged — it may gain features, lose them, or close.
Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, liability for any claim connected with this site is excluded. Decisions you take after reading a result are yours: a divination result is a prompt for thinking, and nothing here is a substitute for professional advice.
Changes
These terms may change as the site does. The version published here is the one that applies; material changes will be noted on this page rather than applied backwards.
